Wedding MC Jokes

The Master of Ceremonies at a wedding is often expected to give a speech that is light-hearted and humorous, but for almost everyone but those naturally gifted comedians among us, the mere thought is simply terrifying.

Picking the right Wedding MC Jokes and practising them to really get them right is the real key and by spending a bit of time thinking and planning for the big day you’ll make sure your jokes hit the right spot with your audience – the wedding guests.

The role of Wedding MC is often associated with that of the Best Man, but that isn’t always the case. The MC can instead be a close friend of the couple, a relative, or a professional Master of Ceremonies or DJ.

Whoever is the Wedding MC, they need to put some time and effort into preparing and planning for the big day. If you’re the Wedding MC then make sure you talk to the bride and groom and their families well in advance so you know what is expected of you and play your part in oiling the wheels that give the illusion of everything happening naturally and without effort.

The aim of this blog is to give you some ideas for picking some great Wedding MC Jokes and one liners for you to use on the day and have the wedding guests in stitches; you’ll be able to relax and have fun, and so will the wedding guests.

Always remember that people like to enjoy themselves at a wedding, and once they’ve had a glass or two of wine they are much more likely to laugh anyway – it’s not like you’re playing to a hostile crowd.

If you can ensure that the reception goes smoothly while making people laugh then you’re certain to find that your job will be remembered for the months and years to come – and for the right reasons too!
